This week, Lee Brice’s inspirational ballad “Love Like Crazy” has reached #3 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart and will, in all likelihood, take over the top spot in the next week or two. But, there is something more remarkable about the song’s slow yet steady rise in the rankings.
It’s extremely rare that a song remains on the Chart for an entire year. “Love Like Crazy” debuted at #58 the week of September 5, 2009 which puts its chart life at an unprecedented 55 weeks. The previous record holder was Eddie Arnold’s “Bouquet Of Roses”, a song that began its run of 54 weeks way back in 1948.
Ain’t that crazy?
